Hi there and thank you for visiting!! I'm Alissa, the person behind the lens! A little bit about me (no judging on the grammar please)... I'm a wife to an amazing husband of 16 years, a mom to 3 awesome kids, a nurse anesthetist, a runner, and a photographer. I grew up in Cleveland and lived in Chicago for 8 years. I now live in north Dayton, Ohio and I'm slowly getting used to small town living even though I'm a city girl at heart. I really fell in love with photography on our honeymoon to Santorini, Greece and became obsessed with it when we had kids. I am always reaching for my camera or iPhone to capture everyday moments. I am very lucky to have a supportive group of family and friends that allow me to pursue my passion.

My three beautiful kids keep me busy, and I love watching them grow and learn new things. I am so blessed to be a mommy to these sweet children. I'm always trying to slow time down and take in the little moments with the kids and this is where photography comes in. I don't want to forget the little ways that the kids play or the way that they look. I am always amazed at how a photograph can not only capture a memory but bring back an exact feeling even a smell (oh those baby snuggles!!!). That is why I do what I do...I love the unplanned, raw emotion in a photograph that brings you back in time to a moment!
